"Too Much" AI Video Art Exhibition
This open call is a collaboration between Kunstmeile Basel, Sheisinblack.art, Designers with AI and the AVGD Gallery.

Together, we aim to create a space for bold and forward-thinking creative voices, where art, design, technology, and people come together.

About "Too much" Theme
Too Much is about the moment when something goes beyond its limit.
A single idea is pushed further and further, repeated, expanded, stretched, layered, or prolonged, until it becomes overwhelming, unstable, or transformed.
Using artificial intelligence, artists can take one gesture, image, feeling, or thought and push it beyond measure.
Each work in the exhibition presents its own version of excess: too much movement, too much emotion, too much noise, too much silence, too much detail, too much time, or too much presence.
All of this excess appears within a gold frame, a fixed, classical object that tries to contain what is overflowing.
This creates the central tension of the exhibition: between what is held and what escapes, between order and overflow, between control and transformation.
Too Much is different for everyone.
It is not a fixed definition, but a personal point of tension.
Artists are invited to explore their own version of that point - and what happens when it is crossed.
