A New Format for Digital Art
ART IN MOTION is an innovative showcase by Kunstmeile Basel in collaboration with Sheisinblack.art and AVGD Gallery, dedicated to digital and AI-driven video art.
The focus lies on short, striking video loops and motion-art pieces in vertical format (9:16), presented on a large screen in the heart of Basel – free to access and visible 24/7. With over 2,000 daily visitors, Kunstmeile Basel offers exceptional public visibility for digital art.
This project creates a stage for international artists to explore new forms of digital expression beyond traditional frames.
featured Artists - EDition 5 - THE UNSEEN
Exhibition Period: 18 June 2026 to 30 August 2026
An immersive digital exhibition exploring perception, illusion, identity, and the unseen forces that shape our reality. What lies beyond the visible?
THE UNSEEN – EDITION 5 brings together nine international digital artists whose works challenge perception and invite viewers into worlds where reality, imagination, memory and emotion intersect. Through moving image, AI-assisted creation, surreal storytelling, and experimental visual narratives, the exhibition explores what remains hidden beneath the surface of everyday experience.
From dreamlike landscapes and psychological symbolism to speculative futures and deeply personal reflections, each artist presents a unique interpretation of the unseen. Together, their works form a collective journey through mystery, transformation, belief systems, identity and the boundaries between the physical and the imagined.

Through a curated selection of animated artworks, visitors are invited to slow down, look closer, and question what they think they see. Some works reveal hidden narratives, others expose emotional truths, while many embrace ambiguity, allowing meaning to emerge through individual interpretation.
THE UNSEEN – ART IN MOTION 5 celebrates the power of contemporary digital art to make the invisible visible and to remind us that not everything of significance can be immediately seen.
Sometimes the most profound truths exist just beyond perception.
